Sunday Training Information (K-3rd Grade)

We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow, Sunday, June 6! Training this week will be on the grass at NH. Below you will find important information for the training.

Below is some important information for the upcoming June Training:

- The schedule and information can be found at

- All training will be held at Northern Highlands in Allendale on the turf field (or the grass field, if varsity sports need the turf).

- Please have the girls dress appropriately for the weather. Sneakers or turf shoes are the preferred footwear.

- Make sure your daughter brings LOTS of water with her.

In terms of equipment, all players must have a stick, mouth guard and shin guards (soccer shin guards are fine). Goggles (lacrosse goggles are fine) are optional.

Program Information

June Sunday Training (K through 3rd)

Highlands Field Hockey Club will be running a June program that will consist of skill development for K-3 graders. The program will build on the player’s fundamental skills by further developing proper passing and receiving techniques, footwork, shooting styles, offensive and defensive strategies along with game strategy. Separate instruction will be provided for those who are new to the game and those who have playing experience. All skill levels are encouraged to play! All towns are welcome to participate.

Practices Dates/Times: 

Location: Northern Highlands Regional High school (Outside Turf)

Dates: Sunday (5pm – 6pm) June: 6, 13, 20, 27

*Practice dates and times may change based on facility availability and outdoor practices will not be made up in the event of inclement weather.

Costs: $40

Costs & Registration

Equipment: All athletes should bring their own equipment including field hockey stick, shin guards, mouth guard, goggles, water bottle, turf shoes/sneakers.
