Welcome to Highlands Field Hockey Club Highlands Field Hockey is dedicated to growing the sport of field hockey in Bergen County New Jersey. Whether you are picking up a stick for the first time or aspire to become an elite player, our programs will assist you in achieving your goals.
Highlands Field Hockey offers developmental programs, training and competitive opportunities year round for athletes in K-12. Based out of Allendale, NJ our club features an elite caliber coaching staff.

April/May Training with Coach Paton (8th Graders) If you are an 8th grader who plans to tryout for a high school team next year, regardless of which high school you plan to attend, this clinic with one of Bergen County's top high school field hockey coaches is for you! Come and train in preparation for what to expect this August. All Towns are Welcome!
Coach Jordan Paton, head varsity coach at Northern Highlands, and her staff, will be running a clinic for 8th graders on Wednesday nights in April and May. Instruction and attention on proper technique for the following skills will include offensive shooting techniques, midfielders play, defensive tactics and tackles, and game-like decision making. The clinic will be capped at 25 girls.
Location: Superdome, Waldwick, NJ (training will occur inside or on the outside field depending on availability)

Separate instruction will be provided for those who are new to the game and those who have playing experience. All skill levels are encouraged to play! All towns are welcome to participate. We hope you will join us for 7v7 and 11v11 pickup games @ Northern Highlands. Each athlete will be placed on a team based on the high school they will be attending. If there are not enough players to form a team by school, we will combine teams. Only registered players will be able to participate. Games will be officiated by HS level officials.
Where: Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale, NJ (298 Hillside Ave, Allendale, NJ 07401)
When: Sundays from 6:30pm - 8pm
Who: 8th through 12th graders (2021 School Year)

| Coach Paton Summer Camp 2021 Coach Paton's Summer Camp '21
Coach Paton's Field Hockey Summer Camp is designed for players entering grades K - 9 in the 2021 school year. Our goal is for each player, new or returning, to build a passion for the game by providing foundational and advanced instruction catered to all playing levels. The camp is directed and supervised by Coach Jordan Paton, the head field hockey coach at Northern Highlands.
Dates: July 26 - July 29, 2021 (subject to change)
Hours: 8:30am - 12:30pm
Location: Northern Highlands Regional High School, Allendale, NJ 07401
Tuition: $225.00. This fee includes registration and a pinnie. Scholarships are available. We don’t want anyone to lose an opportunity to attend the camp due to financial issues. Please contact for scholarship questions.
Equipment: All athletes should bring their own equipment including field hockey stick, shin guards, goggles towel, water bottle, and turf shoes/sneakers (for indoor use). Goalkeepers must bring their own equipment unless an arrangement is worked out with the coaching staff. Mouth guards are required.
