Welcome to Highlands Field Hockey Club

Highlands Field Hockey is dedicated to growing the sport of field hockey in Bergen County New Jersey.  Whether you are picking up a stick for the first time or aspire to become an elite player, our programs will assist you in achieving your goals.

Highlands Field Hockey offers developmental programs, training and competitive opportunities year round for athletes in K-12. Based out of Allendale, NJ our club features an elite caliber coaching staff. 

Sunday/Monday Fall Training & Scrimmages (4th Through 8th Grade)

Highlands Field Hockey Club will be running a fall program that will consist of skill development & scrimmages for 4-8 graders. The program will teach and build on the player’s fundamental skills by further developing proper passing and receiving techniques, footwork, shooting styles, offensive and defensive strategies along with game strategy. All skill levels are encouraged to play! All towns are welcome to participate.

Equipment: All athletes should bring their own equipment including field hockey stick, shin guards, mouth guard, goggles (optional), water bottle, turf shoes/sneakers. 

Where: Northern Highlands Regional High School (298 Hillside Ave, Allendale, NJ 07401)

Dates/Times:

  • Sundays: 10am – 12pm

    • September: 11, 18, 25

    • October: 2, 16, 23, 30

    • November: 6, 13, 20

  • ​Mondays: 7:30pm - 8:45pm (Optional)

    • ​September: 12, 19, 26

    • October: 3, 17, 24

INTRO TO FIELD HOCKEY

Learn field hockey at Highlands Field Hockey Club! This program will focus on the fundamentals of field hockey. Players will be taught proper stick handling techniques and basic knowledge of the game in a fun, positive environment. All towns are welcome to participate.
